Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Nova Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
