Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Indianapolis, IN)

Lumen Clear Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Indianapolis with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
