Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Indianapolis, IN)

Stonegate Thistle Auto Group is a Indianapolis company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
