Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Clear Freight Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
