Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Thistle Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
