Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

Clearpath Field Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Houston. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
