Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Birch Environmental Services Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
