Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Ridge Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Houston. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
