Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Summit Wilder Construction and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
