Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Summit Manufacturing Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
