Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Hartford, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 282 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
