Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Hartford, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
