Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Amber Auto Group is a Grand Rapids company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for warranty claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
