Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Fresno, CA)

Bright Sable Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Fresno plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
