Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Yarrow Foods Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 496 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
