Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Birch Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Fort Worth, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
