Redstone Beacon Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 972 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Knowledge of freight terms.
