Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood North Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
