Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Beacon Markets Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
