Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Denver, CO)

Lumen River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Denver plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Denver. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
