Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Columbus, OH)

Bright Cobalt Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
