Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Columbus, OH)

Lumen Timber Auto Group is a Columbus company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
