Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Columbus, OH)

Clearpath Yarrow Inspection Services Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
