Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Columbus, OH)

Summit Oak Farms is an agricultural business based around Columbus. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
