Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Studio collects and processes waste and recycling around Colorado Springs, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
