Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Cleveland, OH)

Silverline Birch Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Cleveland. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance.
