Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Cincinnati, OH)

Highbridge Sparrow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Cincinnati. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
