Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Keystone Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
