Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Forge Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
