Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Fox Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Charlotte. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
