Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charleston, SC)

Northwind Junction Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Charleston region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
