Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charleston, SC)

Westbrook Summit Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates.
