Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Quarry Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for network equipment. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with network equipment.
