Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Beacon Markets serves neighbourhoods around Buffalo with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
