Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Buffalo, NY)

Cedar Harbor Farms Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
