Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Boston, MA)

Summit Amber Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Boston region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
