Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Oak Foods and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
