Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove Summit Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Birmingham region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
