Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Kestrel Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Birmingham plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
