Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Pike Press Group is a printer and publisher in Austin serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
