Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Atlanta, GA)

Amberfield Ridge Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Atlanta, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
