Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Atlanta, GA)

Amberfield Maple Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for permits. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
