Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Meadow Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
