Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Pine Markets serves neighbourhoods around Anchorage with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
