Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Bridge Foods Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
