Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Albuquerque, NM)

Cedar Press produces print and digital publications in Albuquerque. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
