IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Wichita, KS)

Nova Fern Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
