IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Virginia Beach, VA)

Lumen Quill Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Virginia Beach presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
