IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Field Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
