IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Virginia Beach, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
